Update 9/24/2012

TVShowsonDVD.com has posted info on the Superhuman Samurai Syber-Squad coming to DVD it’s not really a press release & not really any new info but i thought i’ll share it.

In a comment at their Facebook page this past Tuesday, Sept. 18th, Mill Creek Entertainment revealedthat their TV-on-DVD plans for the upcoming year includes the following live-action tokusatsu series: “‘Superhuman Samurai Syber-Squad’ are planned to be released EARLY 2013!” This is in addition to continuations of other shows already released, namely cartoons such asJayce & the Wheeled WarriorsandHeathcliff…but that sort of continuation is not so much a story as the news that the long-awaitedSuperhuman Samurai Syber-Squad(starring Matthew Lawrence ofBoy Meets Worldas “Servo” and the voice ofThe Rocky Horror Picture Show‘s Tim Curry as the antagonist, “Kilokahn”) will finally make it to disc! No other details are available yet, but stay tuned and we’ll fill you in as further developments occur. Our thanks to reader Ryan Clark for the heads-up.
